Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 Bell Pepper
Green Chopped
2 Onions
Chopped
2 Grated Carrots
tried grated for first time, tasted better than chopped
1 large Potato
Cut into thin wedges
3 tablespoon Ginger Grated
for that extra ginger kick
2 teaspoon Chopped Garlic
2 cups Basmati Rice
Cooked
Spices:
1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Pinch Turmeric Powder
1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
Salt
As Per Taste
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
optional
1 tsp Oil

Delicious and yummy recipe of leftover rice. Use ginger to give it a mouthwatering fragrance. Follow below step to make Ginger Fried Rice.

Add 1 tablespoon oil and let it heat

Add chopped onions, garlic and saute for 1 min

Add grated carrots and ginger , simmer for 1 minute

Add the potatoes and cook for 2 mins

Add rest of the vegetables

Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame

Once all veggies have been cooked just right , add the rice

Add rest of the spices and cover with lid. Let the rice cook for 5 mins on low flame.

After 5 mins,take off the pan from the flame and serve hot, topped with fresh coriander and mint leaves

Notes

Tip 1 : Cook in cast iron pan, you’ll be amazed by the authentic taste
Tip 2: Cover the rice such that no air can pass through, this will give the rice a wonderful ginger fragrance.
