- 2 1/2 cups Shredded Cabbage
- 1 cup Shredded Carrots
- 2 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Spring Onions sliced
- 1/2 cup Chopped Red Bell Pepper
- 2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Stock
- To taste Salt
- 1 tsp Minced Garlic
In a heavy skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Now, add the chopped onions and minced garlic for a minute.
Add red bell pepper, thyme and salt. And let it cook for another minute.
Add the shredded cabbage and carrots and give it a good stir. Now, add the vegetable stock and pepper powder.
Cover and let it cook for about 6-7 minutes, until the stock has dried out.
Steamed Jamaican Cabbage is ready to serve.
