- 1 cup Semolina (Rava)
- 1 1/2 cup Pineapple Pieces (peeled and cut into small pieces)
- 2 1/2 cups Boiling Water
- 3/4 cup SugarCan adjust it according to taste
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 2 tbsp AlmondsBlanched
- 1 tbsp Pure Ghee
Pineapple Halwa is healthy sweet made from Pineapple and has a distinctive flavor of citrus fruit. It is a quick recipe, can be made in a jiffy when guests have come in unannounced.
Heat the ghee in a heavy bottomed pan. Add the semolina and roast it on a slow flame until it is brown in color.
Remove it in a plate. Now to this pan, add the pineapple pieces and sauté them for 5-7 minutes until it is soft.
Add water, sugar and Cardamom powder. Let it boil.
Once a boil comes in, add roasted semolina. Stir continuously or else there will be lumps.
Once the Sheera is water free, add the almonds. Mix it well.
Pineapple Sheera is ready to serve.
