3/4 tsp Fruit Saltuse regular Eno if using Eno

2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leavesfinely chopped

1 tbsp Ghee

1 tsp Mustard Seeds

1-1/2 tsp Urad Dal

1 tsp Chana Dal

1/4 tsp Asafoetida

8-10 Curry Leaves

1 Green chilifinely chopped

8-10 Cashewnuts brokenbroken
Directions
A very simple and easy to make south Indian homemade recipe that you can enjoy with Coconut Chutney or Sambhar. Below are steps given to prepare this recipe at home.

In a heavy bottomed pan, heat ghee. Once it reaches smoking point, add mustard seeds and asafetida.

Once mustard seeds crackle add urad and chana dal. Let them turn a little brown in color.

Add green chilies, cashewnuts and curry leaves. Fry it for a minute.

Now add the Rawa and mix well.

Fry this entire mixture until a nice aroma of Rawa starts coming.

Now cool it completely. Add salt.

Beat the curds and mix it well with the Rawa mixture.

Add a little water to make a Idli like batter.

Leave it for 30 minutes. After that, check it out if the batter is too thick, then add a little water.

Add the Fruit Salt, finely chopped coriander and mix well.

Immediately, grease the idli plates. Now pour the idli batter.

Prepare the steamer and steam the idlis for about 10-12 minutes.

Once done, demould the idlis and serve them hot with Coconut Chutney and Sambar.
